Introduction

OTH International S.A. a small privately funded research group, based in the south of France, has been working on the problems of efficient and secure computing for about a decade. From the very start of the R&D, it took a completely lateral approach because it saw that the then existing computer operating systems (Windows, Apple, Linux and UNIX based – Legacy systems), which have since evolved but still underlie those that are prevalent today, were fundamentally and variously flawed. It believes that some of those flaws, and others, still persist today and are the reason for many of the ongoing network and component system vulnerabilities.

Consequently, OTH developed an entirely new secure universal operating system, OSmaX, written in a new (i.e. unknown) programming language, qikC, and having an artificial intelligence (AI). Concomitantly it also developed advanced programming tools which simplify and speed-up application writing thus making the results thereof much more predictable. OSmaX is modular.

A brief overview:

OSmaX© - A Universal Operating System: Concept and execution by FDMZ.

OSmaX OS may be installed on any computer, from DVD, by following the instructions in the normal manner. On completion of the installation, the user is presented with the following:

OSmaX© – Interface (GUI) Options (select):

Drive OSmaX using the Operating System (OS) interfaces (GUIs) of:

Windows OS*

Apple OS*

Linux OS*

OSmaX OS**

*Denotes any of the family of Operating Systems (listed).

**Also for Virgin computers.

OSmaX© Functionality:

Once the OS is installed and an interface chosen, OSmaX Security, Interoperability without Virtualization and Multi-tasking are all operational with it and any other of the above listed systems that may be installed.

Because OSmaX Security is almost instantly and automatically updated when going online, it does not need patching. OSmaX accommodates all pre-installed security systems, which may be, but no longer need be, updated.

NB: The above links are provided for descriptive purposes only; the use of the non-OSmaX interfaces in conjunction with OSmaX is subject to users having valid user-licenses, from the respective licensors, for those interfaces and any of their related operating systems and applications.
